Support from State MND Associations

The State MND Associations provide individualised support to people living with motor neurone disease (MND). Together with MND Australia, the state MND associations work as a network to promote best practice in MND care, and encourage and promote equitable state-based services to help people with MND and their carers live better.

For over 35 years MND Associations have been working to advance, promote and influence MND care and research with a vision of achieving a world without MND. The six state MND Associations are the only MND organisations providing direct services and support through the National MND Support Service Model to people living with MND and their family and friends in all states and territories across Australia.

MND Support Service team 2015

The MND Support Service is focused on ensuring that no person with MND is living with a high level of unmet needs. The Support Service is designed to be the interface between those people impacted by MND and the service sector.

Walk to d'Feet MND

Walk to D'Feet MND events are held across Australia. They are a fun way to raise awareness and money for MND care and research. Take a look at this video by MND South Australia about the 2013 Adelaide Walk to D'Feet MND.
